The Boao Forum for Asia Annual Conference 2025 was held in Hainan province on Wednesday, announcing that the Global Health Forum of the Boao Forum for Asia (GHF) 2025 Beijing Conference will open in Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area (Beijing E-Town) in July.

Zhang Jun, secretary-general of the Boao Forum for Asia, said that the forum adheres to promoting win-win cooperation and facilitating inclusive, green, open and sustainable development, which is in line with Beijing's comprehensive implementation of the development concept of innovation, coordination, green, openness and sharing.

Zhang said that since the third GHF held in Beijing last year, the Beijing government and the forum have had frequent exchanges and interactions. He added that the cooperation has continued to escalate, forming a broad consensus in areas such as jointly promoting global health governance, the development of medical and health care, empowering technological innovation and integrating the health industry.

This year's GHF 2025 Beijing Conference aims to focus on human health, and 10 important topics related to the development of human health will be set around frontier hotspots, such as artificial intelligence, life health, cell gene therapy, synthetic biology and the silver economy.
