Zhang Qiang, secretary of the CPC Beijing E-Town Working Committee, led a delegation to Singapore and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) for exchanges and cooperation from Feb 18 to 24.

During this trip, the delegation visited multiple renowned enterprises, universities and research institutions to deepen international cooperation on industries such as artificial intelligence, autonomous driving and healthcare.

In Singapore, the delegation had exchanges with the representatives of CBridge Capital and HPC AI Tech.

Founder and CEO Fu Wei of CBridge Capital said that the company will focus on the development layout of Beijing E-Town’s biopharmaceutical industry and deepen practical cooperation with the area in capital attraction, and industrial integration.

HPC AI Tech is the only global entrepreneurial enterprise with an independent open-source ecosystem for AI Infra, with its domestic headquarters located in Beijing E-Town. Xie Jiacheng, vice president of tech products at HPC AI Tech, said that the company will actively collaborate with AI application enterprises in Beijing E-Town to drive technological innovation, facilitate the landing of the company's Singaporean ecological enterprises in the area, and contribute to the development of the local AI industry.

Additionally, Beijing E-Town signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with the Land Transport Authority of Singapore, which marks the first institutionalized cooperation between Beijing E-Town and a foreign government in the field of intelligent connected vehicles and smart cities.

In the United Arab Emirates, Beijing E-Town’s delegation visited Dubai International Financial Center, Dubai Airport Free Zone, and Royal Strategic Partners LLC. The focus was on connecting with Middle Eastern capital and market resources to support E-Town’s enterprises engage in international cooperation and expand their presence globally.

The three sides expressed their intentions to further cooperate with Beijing E-Town in fields such as international investment funds, free trade zone construction, digital economy development, smart cities, and artificial intelligence in the future.

Going forward, Beijing E-Town will further deepen cooperation in the global trade and investment field and attract more projects that align with the industrial layout of the area.
