The 2024 International Biomedical Industry Innovation Conference Beijing Forum will be held in the Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area (Beijing E-Town) from Oct 23 to 26.

This conference, themed "cultivating new quality productive forces, promoting the high-quality development of the pharmaceutical and health industry," will focus on in-depth discussions around new quality productive forces in the pharmaceutical and health industry, clinical research and achievement transformation, innovative drug research and development, as well as the high-quality development of international cooperation and innovation in pharmaceuticals, medical devices, and cell and gene therapies.

This year, the conference will include an opening ceremony and 11 themed forums, inviting over 90 experts and scholars to deliver 150 keynote speeches and roundtable discussions.

As the event host, Beijing E-Town has gathered nearly 5,000 various biomedical enterprises, covering the entire field of the biomedical industry, including chemical drugs, biopharmaceuticals, modern traditional Chinese medicine, new vaccines, high-end medical equipment, and third-party service platforms. It has established a complete industrial chain layout encompassing innovation research and development, technology transformation, and industrialization.

In 2023, the output value of the pharmaceutical and health industry in Beijing E-Town reached nearly 100 billion yuan ($14.08 billion), accounting for nearly half of Beijing's total.
