Recently, the outdoor temperature has been rising steadily, but in many public buildings in Beijing E-Town, an intelligent indoor temperature control system is bringing people comfortable temperatures. The system also reduces energy consumption.

At the beginning of this year, Beijing E-Town's 2021 award ceremony for green building projects and public building energy-saving transformation project city-level awards was held. Seven projects in the area received municipal-level award funds.

Among them, three projects organized and constructed by Beijing Boda Jingkai Real Estate Management: Longsheng Building, Yicheng Technology Center and Yicheng International Center were completed and put into operation at the end of 2019. 

Li Tieli, director of the project, remarked that the use of low-temperature air source heat pumps can partially replace municipal thermal steam heat sources to achieve heating of large commercial buildings, which is the primary energy-saving transformation project.

The project independently developed an intelligent software control system for cold and heat sources to achieve more efficient and energy-saving operation management. All lighting fixtures have been replaced with microwave radar induction light sources.

"Currently, we are operating 15 energy-saving renovation projects. Since the start of operation, we have saved about 6,000 tons of standard coal, reduced carbon dioxide emissions by 11,273 tons, and saved energy costs of about 19 million yuan ($2.84 million)." Li  said.
